Daniël Franke :panheart:<p>I’m honestly disappointed by anti-capitalists thinking that bluesky/AT will end any better than Twitter, Facebook, or other venture capitalist backed for-profit social media.</p><p>Yes, it’s fun now, and that’s because they are keeping it fun to gather a critical mass of users so that they get the network effect on their side. At some point the capital will dry up, and investors will want to see return on their investment, and suddenly your data is the product again, and when that’s not enough, they will try other more invasive monetisation strategies.</p><p>And if you want to get away from that but still use the at protocol?
