This Is My GlasgowArt Deco style entrance to a 1935 military Drill Hall on Hotspur Street in the Maryhill area of Glasgow. It's named afer Walcheren Island in the Netherlands, which was liberated from German occupation by Allied troups as part of the Battle of the Scheldt in 1944. This Is My GlasgowLuma Tower on Shieldhall Road in Glasgow. Designed by Cornelius Armour in a Steamline Moderne style and built in 1938, it's one of the best preserved Art Deco buildings in the city.
