Undiscovered Scotland<p>Carnasserie Castle, one of the more recent historical attractions in the amazing Kilmartin Glen in Argyll. It was built from 1565 for Bishop John Carswell and fell out of use after being attacked in 1685. Undiscovered Scotland<p>The rocky defile guarding the entrance to the ancient fortress of Dunadd, north of Lochgilphead in Argyll. Occupied from about 500 to about 900, this was once one of the most important places in what has since become Scotland. Undiscovered Scotland<p>Partly hidden by neighbouring buildings, the superb Oban Distillery stands right in the heart of the town of Oban in Argyll. It was founded on this site by a family of local merchants, the Stevensons, in 1794.
