@usagi @puppygirlhornypost2 @rain The problem is that violating #GDPR & #BDSG results in mere fines, not jailtimes for repeat offenders.

  • Also "fraud protection" only applies as "legitimate reason" if fraud can cause them imminent and direct damages (i.e. people carding a store / committing wire fraud / ...) but that's delegated to payment processors and they've to do their anti-fraud.

Plus only on #Postpaid subsvriptions and the like this would be applicable.

  • #KYC doesn't apply to almost all services & juristictions anyway, so it's not as if said service can be defrauded easily.

#NotLegalAdvice but if a "#YouthProtection" system can comply with German "Youth Pritection Law" without having to ID a person directly then shure as hell sites and services that don't sell/serve pr0n can do the same...

@Archivist @datarama @munin I think all drugs need #HarmReduction and that #criminalization prevents both proper information and access to care.

  • I'm not saying we should've #Fentanyl Vending Machines (instead we should have professionally staffed "Consumption Rooms" where there's not only trained personnel onsite able and ready to intervene when needed) but that the criminalization and it's effects are more harmful to society overall.

  • Only with a #legalzed access and #consumption will it be possible to enforce #ConsumerProtection, #QualityControl and #YouthProtection as well as offer support and relief where needed.

As for people harming others: That is sufficiently sanctioned in #PenalCode already!

  • It doesn't change the fact that a person gets charged for murder regardless if they used their bare hands, a bajonet, syringe or gun to kill someone.

  • Criminalization doesn't reduce access in the "Post-#Luty & Post-#GFC9" era, but merely makes it harder for investigators to find and match evidence pieces like the gun used.

Basically everything that doesn't inherently cause harm to individuals (i.e. violence), organizations (i.e. theft) or society as a whole (i.e. tax fraud & tax evasion) is a #VictimlessCrime per very definition.

And yes, I never had a #NeoGeo myself when it was supported and couldn't afford it either...

Needless to say I really wished I could afford starting a #Hackspace / #Bar cuz then I'd have mine installed in a DIY'd #arcade machine...

If anyone wounders why #MobileGaming is fucked for over a decade now to the point that there seems to be only #PayToLoose #Shovelware getting pissed out and advertised, then I'd recommend you to watch this summary and realize that EVERY BIG GAMING COMPANY wants to "go whaling" and "#PayToWin" is just an easy way to maximize #profit, minimize #effort and have a big #cashout.

So that's why you find less and less #OneTimePurchase #MobileGames at all, because #capitalism and #greed lead to #Enshittification!
