remotevoices<p>A difficult podcast episode. Gil Roth of the Virtual Memory podcast turned up on Saturday to interview Michael Denneny, 80 year old gay author and editor, to talk about his book "Christopher Street: Life, Sex and Death After Stonewall." Only to find that Michael had died and had been lying undiscovered until Gil's arrival. Instead of an interview we get a monologue, about the experience, the shock, about what is lost. <a href="https://mastodon.xyz/tags/podcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>podcast</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.xyz/tags/VirtualMemory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VirtualMemory</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.xyz/tags/death" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>death</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.xyz/tags/grief" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>grief</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://chimeraobscura.com/vm/episode-535-finding-michael-denneny" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">chimeraobscura.com/vm/episode-</span><span class="invisible">535-finding-michael-denneny</span></a></p>
