Au salon de l'agriculture, Macron assure à France Info que Bayrou "a toute" sa "confiance" malgré l'affaire Betharram et les révélations de Médiapart, qui prouvent que son Premier ministre et son épouse ne pouvaient ignorer les violences dans l'établissement. Le média a publié le témoignage d'une ancienne prof qui affirme que Élisabeth Bayrou voyait elle aussi les maltraitances commises sur les élèves.
