Chris :donor:<p>Time for an <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>introduction</span></a> for me:<br>Today, I am on the Preventive and Detective side of <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/infosec" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>infosec</span></a>. Very blueish and definetely not red team..<br>Besides having a broad overview (just like everyone here needs to have) and doing lots of consulting for ISO 27001 and similar, I have a deep technical knowledge in <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Fortinet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fortinet</span></a> products. I live in south Germany.</p><p>However:<br>As a kid, I wanted to be a filmmaker, so I went straight forward into film industry, doing <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/VFX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VFX</span></a>, mostly for commercials (still member of the global Visual Effects Society <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/VES" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VES</span></a>). Passionate about everything computer related, I grew into software development as well, doing crazy <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/VR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VR</span></a>, <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/AR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AR</span></a> and "MR" stuff (being one of the first devs in Germany getting my hands on Microsoft <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/HoloLens" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HoloLens</span></a>).<br>Then, I thought about family life and found out, that children and supervisor roles in film industry don't match. So, I turned around and used my dev-experience to move towards cybersecurity. Being at the right spot (meaning *not* in a SOC), career and my two little daughters are "in harmony" now :D</p><p>I am not sure about how often I will post something here, but I look forward to reading a lot of interesting stuff and join conversations.</p>
