Woke up a bit earlier than usual this morning and while I was waiting on the wife to get home from work, I decided to update my Mastodon profile.

It was a bit short due to being limited from when I was running AllThingsTech.social so I decided to expand it a bit and make it not look so clunky.

Hopefully it helps make it a bit more clear as to the things I like and am interested here within the #Fediverse, especially for the new users who might view my profile and wonder if I'm worthy of a follow.

I even took a bit of inspiration from @alice_watson with regards to how I presented the hashtags!

#BillS5 was to #modernize #Canadian #EnvironmentalProtectionAct - the right of all people in #Canada to a #HealthyEnvironment is now recognized in law. Although ultimate goal was to have this right enshrined in the #CanadianCharterOfRightsAndFreedoms - getting it into this #law is a great start.

The Environmental Protection Act hadn’t been #updated since 1999.

I used to be a Very Useful Engine® but got over it. Former surgeon & surgical educator, forever nerd, casual gamer. Promoter of social justice but wish I did more. Limited somewhat by disability & health, about which I post using CW health/illness.

#Introduction #updated I joined Mastodon in Nov 2022 and love it for being a sane place to meet people online and have sensible discussions without being trolled. I love food and wine, am an eternal optimist so I get hurt over and over but will keep trying to be a better person. I want to meet and interact with like minded people!
