I know this is an American thing- if I could learn to think of local time in 24 hours, this wouldn't be an issue. But I feel that software should be a little more flexible than it is. </p><p> Screenshots for <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/iOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>iOS</span></a> and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/GNOME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GNOME</span></a> shown. Pero me he dado cuenta de varias cosas:</p><p>• «Nuestra relación con la luz del sol depende del uso horario y no del huso horario». Esto se lo leí a un divulgador hace un tiempo. En resumen: No importa lo que marque el reloj, lo que importa es lo que hacemos en esa hora; solo hay que ver cómo, con el mismo horario que Francia, Alemania o Países Bajos, no usamos nuestro tiempo de la misma manera que estos países.</p><p>• Empiezo a valorar mucho más tener más luz solar por las mañanas que por las tardes. Sin embargo, yo necesito luz solar para despertarme mejor, no dejamos de ser animales diurnos, por mucho que intentemos negarlo. Salir de casa de noche para ir a trabajar es muy triste.</p><p>• Si finalmente se siguiera haciendo el cambio de hora, votaría por volver a lo que se hacía antes de 1996. He leído que en España, hasta ese año, el horario de invierno entraba en vigor a partir del último fin de semana de septiembre, no de octubre, como se hace ahora. Ese cambio actualmente llega tarde porque, siendo en España de 7:00 a 8:30 las horas habituales de entrar al trabajo, la ventaja que sacamos dura tres semanas, tras las cuales volvemos a entrar al trabajo de noche. Un sinsentido.</p><p>• Conclusión: Que se terminen los cambios de hora, nos quedamos con el de "invierno" para todo el año y cambiamos nuestros "usos" horarios si hace falta para ajustarnos al cambio. Original size is 4.5 x 2.5-inches. The message is that it's inviting readers to a "reception" or "landing party" for #TimeTravelers, or #Krononauts, that was scheduled for 2 years after the publication date of the magazine. The ad also includes phone numbers and a PO box which are all long-defunct now. The irony / humor / concept is that we are looking at this from 45 years in its future, just as real Time Travelers will one day look at it from a more distant future(s), and they could elect to travel back to #Baltimore #MD #US on 1982 Mar 09. This kind of documentation (now on #Mastodon & #Fediverse) is crucial to the successful operation of the experiment. CCTV and times.,

I run a lot of logs on UTC, and even have a Z suffix.

My CCTV has on image times, but does not say Z or UTC.

I have time stamps in NX Witness as well, and it can easily add overlay times on export of images or video.

I have gone for...

1. All cams stay on UTC with UTC overlay (mainly because not all cams can even do BST change, and those that do get it wrong).
2. NX Witness runs on "local".

This means in summer I get two times on exported videos.
