Chuck Darwin<p>Taiwanese senior officials repeatedly questioned members of a visiting U.S. congressional delegation on what stalled aid to <a href="https://c.im/tags/Ukraine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ukraine</span></a> means for U.S. commitments to defend the island from potential <a href="https://c.im/tags/Chinese" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Chinese</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/aggression" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>aggression</span></a>.</p><p>The Senate last week passed the national security supplemental — which includes $1.9 billion in U.S. funding to restock arms bound for <a href="https://c.im/tags/Taiwan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Taiwan</span></a> — but House Speaker Mike <a href="https://c.im/tags/Johnson" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Johnson</span></a> has vowed to block the bill unless it includes provisions to tighten border security.</p><p>Taiwan is extremely interested in Ukraine, and extremely worried that we might walk away from Ukraine,” Rep.
