The Vinyl Ape 🦧<p>THE BOX<br>The Box<br>1984 Canada pressing</p><p>Another one from my “destination wedding haul” from last weekend.</p><p>As common as this record is, it wasn’t easy for me to get one until last weekend.<br>I NEVER saw it anywhere until last Saturday, and I’m thrilled to finally have it.</p><p>I have a GREAT deal of love for this odd little band. DigitalDruid<p>A day inside ‘cause the weather is so up and down today so attempting to refresh the old <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Surface" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Surface</span></a> with an <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ubuntu</span></a> install and hopefully keep the touch screen available (an additional step so I believe) so I can still have fun with the slidey keys in <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Bitwig" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bitwig</span></a>. There’s a sound in there that nailed <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Orbital" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Orbital</span></a> ‘s <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/TheBox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TheBox</span></a> and also a distorted slide guitar that was always good fun trying to replicate newer takes of <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/OneOfTheseDays" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OneOfTheseDays</span></a> by <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/PinkFloyd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PinkFloyd</span></a>. Here’s me putting the ‘B’ in The Box. It’s not vibrato sensitive so god knows what my digit is thinking but it felt natural to give it a wobble! This is from a few years ago, I hope I don’t brick it! 😅</p>
