The people in power were shown a long time ago that it's the system that doesn't work, that it's due for a collapse and it will wreck the planet in so doing. They were given a choice, that the only way to avoid this was to accept radical changes in how our society works, adopt a sustainable, resource-based economy where everyone shared equally in that wealth. But what they didn't like about this option is that there would be no room for the rich and powerful, because money would be useless and politics would become obsolete. They'd have to give up everything they were raised to believe that they were entitled to.

So what did they do? Some stuck their head in the sand and tried to pretend that it wasn't true. Others, like FDR, tried to find a gentler, less radical solution, but he died before he could fully implement it. But then there were others, who realized that this was a shrinking/sinking hill and they wanted to make sure that sure that they were on top of it. So they doubled down on it. At first they tried to do this quietly, using propaganda and suffocating education to make it easier to do in the long run. Now, we're seeing the plan go full steam ahead. Why now I'm not sure, I can only speculate. But it does mean that we have less time than ever to choose a different path, that one we had so long ago, because the longer we wait the more costly it will be, and the less resources we'll have to pull it off. So there will come a point when we won't have the resources to make this choice anymore, and it'll be disaster for the entire human race, and the rest of the planet too.

#technocracy #technate

InspiredByBlackElk
Just going to hypothesize something here... for posterity and accountability to weird strategic thoughts I have when I try to channel this Musk creep. The tech-bro's have already taken over. That is why they are now sending the DOGE teams with armed escorts and guns to smash small offices of the government. Trump is the vindictive figurehead. It's the tech lords running the show, and they're going to do a deal with China to get rid of Putin.

🇨🇳 🇺🇸 🔀 🇷🇺

I'm open to the possibility of something beyond shocking happening. There have already been rumors of revaluing the gold at Fort Knox, restructuring the debt, a national cryptocurrency...

What about, a merger / joint venture with China and the US becomes a total one-party state, USA Inc. They'll leave the illusion of elections, and the Dems will continue to be the useful idiots as they have been for a decade.

The game is no longer Dem vs. Rep. There will be no normal midterms. The struggle at the top is between the Christian Nationalists, the technofascist (Nation State) crowd, and the MAGA base that Bannon leads. Think of Bannon's people as the brown shirts they'll eventually use to silence dissent.

Imagine a chip-access deal or some sort of organized takeover of Taiwan (stripping the island of its sovereignty in Trump fashion) over a set period of time for USA, Inc. to be able to scale semiconductor fabs.

The culture war is a distraction. The rich are stealing the future. :earth: :NoNazis: :ExtinctionRebellion: :NonCommercialUS:

#hypothetical #Technology #TechNate #Musk #thiel #Andreessen #Ellision #uspol #feudalism #technofeudalism #ai #solarpunk

Luckily, both of these are possible in North America (and possibly elsewhere) by using Technocracy: https://www.technate.org/tiki-index.php?page=Begin
The added benefit of this is that it also makes political government unnecessary, thus removing the other primary tool for removing people's rights. By comparison, in Technocracy, people's rights would be an objective part of how the system functions, built-in at the highest level. Any violation of such would be like a vital part of your car's engine being broken.
#technocracy #technate #SocialJustice

Murdoc Addams 🧛🏻:ri: 🇨🇦
This is the first Appendix to my Introduction. A good way to get to know me is to know what's important to me, and with these I'll introduce those topics and projects that are. They'll remain as pinned posts on my profile so I can refer people to them should the topic ever come up.

The first and most important thing in my life is something called Technocracy. Most likely you haven't heard of it before, and if by some chance you have, what I am talking about here is most likely not related at all to what you've heard before. So what is it exactly? Keeping in mind that it is a topic large enough that it is normally taught in a study course, and any less than that risks what might be called "Blind Men and the Elephant Syndrome", in short Technocracy is a proposal for a sustainable, post-scarcity economic system.

To describe how it works, the shortest description would be "Technocracy is a system where machines do all the work people don't want to do." This is of course a big oversimplification, but it gets the essential point across, and that is that our society has reached a point, technologically speaking, where most work is obsolete. And our continued attempts to maintain an economic system that requires human labor is not only holding us back from a better future, but is indeed making things worse. That is why an essential part of Technocracy is to separate a person's labor from their ability to consume. Only by doing this can we let machines do what they do best, and free the rest of us to pursue better lives for everyone. As for how exactly it accomplishes this, there's more to it than can be put in any social media post. Anyone interested in learning more can visit www.technate.org and/or talk to me about it. I'll also be posting more about it from time to time here.

1/-

#Technocracy #technate #SpecialInterest #PostScarcity #AlternativeEconomics #introduction
