URGENT MUTUAL AID REQUEST

:boostRequest:

$50/300

Hello all! It's your friendly neighborhood mod Glitch!

I am in need of your help! I haven't had much luck with donations and it's getting down to the wire with the move coming up soon.

I am a trans nonbinary neurodivergent individual with ME/CFS and degenerative disc disease (lower spine).

I have to move in a little over a week into a temporary apartment while mine is being remodeled, and while the moving company provided a couple of things I requested, I still need things like a cat carrier and some storage bins and cleaning supplies as well as personal care and hygiene items and taking care of my power bill.

Thanks in advance!

PayPal.MePay Tobey Cook using PayPal.MeGo to paypal.me/themastercircuit and type in the amount. Since it’s PayPal, it's easy and secure. Don’t have a PayPal account? No worries.

I had a weird experience today.

I was paying for my car’s repair and the young woman cashier had on heart-shaped, rainbow flag earrings. 🏳️‍🌈

I commented that I liked them, and she showed me her matching ring and said, Happy Pride!”

Nobody has ever said that to me, and I was caught off guard. I think I said something super-lame like, “you, too!” and I can’t stop thinking about the interaction.

I missed a chance to say to this person that I completely support #LBGTQIA 🏳️‍🌈 and #Trans 🏳️‍⚧️ people… There’s a chance I offended or disappointed them with a lukewarm (at best) response. I thought about it all the way home and almost called the cashier’s office, but then chickened out. I’m not even sure what I would’ve said.

I wish I wasn’t such a dumbass.

Solidarisch gegen Transfreindlichkeit!

Kundgebung

click.actionnetwork.orgHHS Take Down Anti-Trans Report The Department of Health and Human Services has released a 400-page document attacking gender-affirming healthcare for transgender youth. This so-called “Review of Evidence and Best Practices” is neither scientific nor evidence-based, it’s a political weapon disguised as policy. The administration is using HHS to give cover to far-right ideology aimed at dismantling the basic rights and dignity of trans people in America. Every major medical association in the U.S., from the American Academy of Pediatrics to the Endocrine Society, supports affirming care for trans youth. That includes access to puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and social support. But this new HHS report calls that lifesaving care “misguided” and insinuates that doctors are failing their duty by providing it. That’s a lie. And it’s dangerous. To make matters worse, the authors of this report are being kept secret. HHS claims that withholding the names somehow protects the “integrity” of a future peer review process, but the report hasn’t been peer reviewed at all. That means no one, including doctors, researchers, or the media, can verify who wrote it, what sources they used, or whether any of it holds up under scrutiny. That’s not how public health policy is supposed to work. It’s how political disinformation is laundered. This document was published without transparency, oversight, or accountability. It's unethical and it’s a direct threat to the health and well-being of trans kids nationwide. We are calling on HHS to take this report down immediately. And if they refuse, they must at least release the names of the authors and subject the document to real scientific review. Click ‘START WRITING’ to sign and send your letter to HHS. Demand they take down this anti-trans attack disguised as “best practices” now.
