Sebastian :coffefied:<p>I’ve just now realised <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SmartHome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SmartHome</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/lightbulbs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lightbulbs</span></a> don’t make any sense. Not unless the switch is smart too. If you keep the dumb switch around, people will use it out of habit, powering the device off. </p><p>That being said, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TPLink" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TPLink</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Tapo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tapo</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/L535" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>L535</span></a>, despite giving a very nice light, is an utter shit. Can’t stay on the WiFi or <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Matter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Matter</span></a> network for a day. Usual quality of TP-Link software, I guess…</p><p>My old <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/ESP8266" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ESP8266</span></a> boards do a better job of remembering WiFi creds and settings…😂🤡</p>
