The sun is slooooowly coming out, which is appreciated on this Monday. </p><p>I'm paying for all the time I spent outside this weekend, despite keeping up with my allergy medicine. It'll only get worse as more trees "pop", but I've been here before and know it will pass eventually. Unfinished chores sparked some overnight rumination that degraded my sleep. The heavy, nasty stormy weather predicted for overnight didn't materialize. Instead, it was a rather calm, foggy n cloudy night. Heck, even the temperature stayed at a shocking warm 67deg. The high today is only expected to be about 70. 🫤</p><p>Anyway, it's still calm n gloomy n cloudy and the weather people are telling us just to stand by, as the stuff is still coming, I guess. A visit to the dermatologist when I know I have suspicious-looking stuff on my face and body that will likely need to be removed/biopsied. And of course the dematologist's office is on the closed road, so that means detouring around on the highway again.</p><p>Sigh. I will be much happier once I'm home again. Often I find any excuse I can to just not be at the house. Its been raining a bit. Precursor of a few months from now when we get rainy season here. Spend some time writing and reading. Hearing the rain beat some drumbeat outside. The kid splash the puddles and the grownups talk. I'd take the puddles.</p><p>Walking in the almost April rain is a delight. The few drops enough to touch my cap and shirt but not drench them. Some coffee shop around the corner and down the block.</p>
