On the one hand it's LMAO, on the other hand it's kind of a devaluation of the #GOTY award. I know a lot of people think #Astrobot deserves that title, but again, I know a lot of indie games that deserve that title too, but it's very hard to connect with what people are willing to pay for.

If you missed #TGAGWCAGA, I highly recommend spending 2 hours - it's one of the best game showcases I've seen in years. I'm not sure what the #TGA is about, but it's definitely not about games, since a lot of very creative #indie games are not nominated.

Looks like I didn't lose anything by missing #TGA, it just becomes more obvious every year that it's just another attempt to become "elite" in your particular sector. Since this sector is not really for everyone yet, like movies for example, it looks weird, especially when very popular games are just ignored
