boredsquirrel<p>I am a tiny bit concerned.</p><p>Using <a href="https://tux.social/tags/MullvadVPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MullvadVPN</span></a> <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@mullvadnet" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>mullvadnet</span></a></span> on <a href="https://tux.social/tags/GrapheneOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GrapheneOS</span></a> <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>GrapheneOS</span></a></span> I need to disable GrapheneOS' default VPN protections to make split tunneling work.</p><p>I use that to prevent <a href="https://tux.social/tags/Youtube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Youtube</span></a> from blocking me (poorly the good times are over it seems), and to have local network stuff (<a href="https://tux.social/tags/RDP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RDP</span></a>, <a href="https://tux.social/tags/LocalSend" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LocalSend</span></a>, <a href="https://tux.social/tags/KDEConnect" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>KDEConnect</span></a>, <a href="https://tux.social/tags/SyncthingFork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SyncthingFork</span></a>) work.</p><p>Are all these apps bypassing my VPN?? Or are they collecting data themselves and the system can access that?</p><p>The GB numbers indicate the latter?</p>
