"For all its problems, the L holds great significance for Chicagoans. It’s more than a means of moving people around — it’s integral to the city’s character."

Stockholm is getting its second subway station with exits in two different Cities. And this one even has two exits from the same ticket hall going to different Cities.
The older one goes to the cities of Solna and Sundbyberg, the new one to the cities of Solna and Stockholm.
Then there is Ford's baby subway, the Ontario Line. It will be:
- Incompatible with all other lines the #TTC operates (can't: build junctions later for interlining, can't share rolling stock)
- Smaller than Subways (Ford's logic: narrower tunnels means more distance for the same budget and more is better, never mind projected usage being higher than capacity!)
Billions wasted to satisfy our own Trump.

Watching this video makes me lament for #Toronto and #Ontario and the damage done to it by Rob and Doug Ford.
As originally designed the Eglinton LRT would have spread throughout Scarborough and Etobicoke.
Instead Ford is wasting $3.5bn to bury the west end of the line, money that could've been used to build dozens of kilometres of on-street dedicated LRT lanes.

I think this is Victoria Park stop, along the east-west track, well east.
@jackyan not that well in #Germany tho.
#KFC was always overpriced and closes shops i. #Germany because a bucket if greasy chicken for the price of multiple complete menus ain't selling.
And #McDonalds "#AppWalling" and "#LoginWalling" their #Coupons and #SpechalOffer|s is cutting into their revenue when #Döner and #Dürüm have a better price/performance ratio. Why buy a #BigMac when you can get a full menue that fills you up for less?
The weirdest thing I've seen are #MgSpaghetti in the #Philipines which baffles me to this day cuz they have so much nice, delicious and cheap food and then they want soggy, sticky noodles with tasteless sauce?
