Sheldon<p>Almost every year since 1986, my town's had a Christmas themed celebration. I have now been involved in some way in over half of the entire history of this event!</p><p>In recent years the festivities have been organized by friends of mine. I'm always the event photographer, the event promoter, and I also help coordinate aspects of the event in other ways.</p><p>The highlight this year were a couple young girls who were amazing baton dancers. Bob Horowitz<p>The perfect gym outfit doesn't exi--- Stop the presses!!!<br>________</p><p>So something happened this week, something good.</p><p>In September I started back at the gym... after having quit for the beginning of the pandemic and again due to cancer crap. And for the last three and a half months I've been working out regularly, lifting weights ("pick them up, put them down, pick them up...").</p><p>Anyway, last Monday I took a brisk 2.5 mile walk and for the entire length of the walk I realized I didn't feel a thing. Nothing. No exertion, no increase in breathing or pulse... It was just one totally effortless, almost-weightless stride, end to end. And the same thing happened on Wednesday and Friday. </p><p>God it feels good.</p><p>(Add: that is not me in the picture.
