Dated ca 350 BC. In Egypt they are depicted with snake bodies and are know as Agathe Tyche (Isis) and Agathos Daimon (Osiris), worshiped as household gods and protectors, bringing good luck and fortune. It’s interesting that on the island of Delos there is a Temple of Isis.</p><p><a href="https://c.im/tags/AncientHistory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AncientHistory</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/SnakePower" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SnakePower</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/Isis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Isis</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/Osiris" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Osiris</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/Delos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Delos</span></a> </p><p>Archaeological Museum on the island of Delos, Greece</p>
