Jake BrownPOSTING AGAIN: I directed a movie in 2019 captured on an old super 8 film camera, creating an early 1900s aesthetic, and centered on the duality of Science and Faith, titled "Chapter 9." I worked closely with a very small group of artists (7 of us on the entire production) to bring these ideas to the screen. It was complete with all hand-painted title cards and an original musical score. The full film is just under 30 minutes in length and can be viewed at the link below for free. Richard 🏳️‍🌈<p>“Camille” <br>Starring Greta Garbo &amp; Robert Taylor <br>Based upon “The Lady of the Camillias” by Alexander Dumas. </p><p>The first time I saw Camille, I was mesmerized by Greta Garbo. To this day, her screen presence is unique, and her amazing beauty seems to be of another realm. </p><p>I finally purchased a copy of the book, which is coming up in my que. </p><p>If have not seen a Garbo film, do yourself a favor and watch Camille. </p><p>As Marguerite Gautier she is glorious. </p><p>Robert Taylor makes a dashing Armand Duval. </p><p>Henry Daniel (not shown) plays the villain as Baron de Varville. </p><p>Seriously, though, Garbo is the reason to watch. Sometimes, she communicates with her eyes, and you know exactly what Marguerite is feeling. </p><p>It’s no wonder why she remains one of the most legendary actresses of the 20th Century.
