The more I read about Silent Hill F and re-watch the trailer, the more glad I am Konami went this route of changing the setting to 1960s Japan and including a disturbing and thematically heavy storyline.

Too early to call, of course, but I kind of feel a spark of hope for Konami's revival as a game studio here. And I definitely wanna play this thing.

Silent Hill F certainly looks interesting. It's beautiful and eerie, and from that first trailer it does feel like like a Silent Hill game with some undeniable Fatal Frame vibes, which isn't a bad thing IMO. Curious to see how the whole taking place in Japan in the 1960s approach will play out, and how it ties to the Silent Hill mythos. Seeing Akira Yamaoka's name once again attached to a SH title, is definitely another plus.
