Blake Patterson<p>In 1983, my parents paid $299 for a 32KB memory expansion board for my TI-99/4A.</p><p>Last year, MicroCenter gave me 32GB of DDR5 SDRAM -- for free -- with the purchase of a Ryzen 7 7700X CPU.</p><p>That's just over 1 million times more memory (and it's a bit faster, too.)
