Whichever chucklefuck designed this, I hope you get papercuts from toilet paper for the rest of your employed life.

“I’m sure #Shopware had good reasons to implement $feature this way, I’ll see the light eventually”, I reassure myself while trying to adapt its 65th aspect to my requirements.

It’s not often that I find a framework that makes me want to go back to *Magento 1*, so congrats on finding a unique selling point, I guess.

There are many bizarre things about the #Shopware platform. This code snippet might be in my top 5. “Let’s try and assign a new value to an object property. If it fails, just carry on, what’s the worst thing that could happen”.

It’s so cool when you step through 200 core method calls in a debugger, reach this line, see that the property still has its old value, don’t see any error message, and you have to guess what you did wrong. Thrilling!
