Weezy<p>Does anyone know of a style of internet communication that's built security-first?</p><p>I've seen a few posts recently about how email wasn't designed to be secure, it was supposed to be for coordinating academics working on different university networks. Makes sense.</p><p>Now I've read that IRC wasn't designed to be secure coz you're supposed to be able to join and join in. Makes sense.</p><p>The UK government is currently unscrewing all the security panels on apple and android devices so they can read your messages if they feel like it. Hate it.</p><p>Obviously (?) DMs on here are subject to server moderation and ActivityPub wasn't built security-first either. Makes sense.</p><p>So what is? I am stuck handwriting letters and posting them?</p><p>Please don't recommend Signal, I have Signal. It's fine.</p><p><a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Email" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Email</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/IRC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IRC</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Apple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Apple</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Android</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/ActivityPub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActivityPub</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/SecureCommunication" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SecureCommunication</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/InfoSec" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>InfoSec</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Security" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Security</span></a></p>
