Ether Diver<p>Another update in the ongoing saga of my <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/ROMpler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ROMpler</span></a> <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/GAS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GAS</span></a>! Last time I had found a new, cheaper replacement for the <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/Ensonsiq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ensonsiq</span></a> SQr that had slipped through my fingers...I was emailing with the guy, planned to go buy it this Wednesday.</p><p>Yeah, he sold it yesterday 😅. That's Craigslist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯</p><p>Well, if a third one pops up, I'll know not to hesitate. If not, it wasn't meant to be.</p><p>This time.</p>
Ether Diver<p>Well it seems the gods have not released me from my <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/ROMpler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ROMpler</span></a> <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/GAS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GAS</span></a> just yet...I just found the same synth I was looking at (albeit in keyboard form, not rack) for less money, about 90 minutes away. Bit of a drive, but if the gods are going to insist, who am I to argue?</p><p>Reached out to the guy, so we'll see ...</p>
Ether Diver<p>While I am in an updating mood... if you've been following the Tale of my <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/ROMpler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ROMpler</span></a> <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/GAS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GAS</span></a>, you might recall that last we checked in I had decided to let the universe help me decide by waiting until the end of the month to see if I still wanted it *and* it was still there, and then buy it if both were true.</p><p>Universe decided for me because someone else bought it before I could. My extremely mild regret strongly suggests I made the right decision, more or less.</p>
Ether Diver<p>Came home from my weekly Magic game having sold another expensive card, so I decided to order the <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/Strega" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Strega</span></a> at last (based on my previous conversation with <span class="h-card"><a href="https://stoners.social/@benda" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>benda</span></a></span>). This is part 2 of my Make Noise Easel (0-Coast being the third and final part, which I'll probably pick up in the next year or two.) Yeah, I am still lusting over the <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/Taiga" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Taiga</span></a>, but the Strega has been calling to me since its release. As for the <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/ROMpler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ROMpler</span></a>, if it's still there at the end of the month and I still want it, I'll get it then.</p>
Ether Diver<p>I've used it on a couple tracks here and there (it's featured on "Simple Shapes on a Magnetic Medium" from Tales of Etherspace), I just need to spend some more time with it. And if it doesn't scratch the itch by the end of March, and the one I have my eye on (or another one) is available, I'll pull the trigger then. </p><p><a href="https://etherdiver.bandcamp.com/track/simple-waveforms-on-a-magnetic-medium" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">etherdiver.bandcamp.com/track/</span><span class="invisible">simple-waveforms-on-a-magnetic-medium</span></a></p><p><a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/TalesOfEtherspace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TalesOfEtherspace</span></a> <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/WaveStation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WaveStation</span></a> <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/ROMpler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ROMpler</span></a></p>
Ether Diver<p>If you've been following my adventures in <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/ROMpler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ROMpler</span></a> <a href="https://ravenation.club/tags/GAS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GAS</span></a> you'll be excited, or disappointed, to know I have decided, after being sorely tempted by an enormous, battered keyboard and turning away at the last second, to curb my desire for the moment. I reminded myself that I actually have the coolest ROMpler/Pad machine of all time, the Wavestation, as a plugin on the iPad... I don't love doing music on the ipad but it seems like I can live with it as a ROMpler...</p>
