If you like the 80s US Midwest #indieRock thing (Early #Replacements, Early #SoulAsylum, Early #GooGooDolls) this is essential! From Quebec Alex Soria was a songwriting master both in this and #TheNils. As good or better than any of the above. #Chino

@remotenemesis at least those #GluedInBatteries are documented re: #replacements!
Last night's ironing-time listening was the Life of the Record episode on The #replacements' Pleased to Meet Me. (This has been a favourite album of mine since its release.) Commentary from Paul Westerberg (from a contemporaneous interview) and producer Jim Dickinson's son Luther. Fascinating. And the bits of the songs made me want to crank it up. Loud.

I heard a Muzak version of this one time, playing over the loudspeaker outside a shopping mall entrance.

This song came up on my #vlc #summer playlist today.
Im old enuf to "own" music and thanks to VLC I can can still play it. Anyway, great tribute song by #PaulWesterberg to #Replacements bandmate #BobStinson. A lovely song that doesn't get get near enough play. #Minnesota music fans might recognize it. Enjoy, and have a Good Day.
