I have been consuming media in different languages and countries almost all my life. September, Eternal<p>I'm obsessed with watching interactions on <a href="https://ohai.social/tags/RedBook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RedBook</span></a> and seeing people seeing that we're all . . . just people. It's heartwarming, you know? We all like good food and love our pets and have joys and aggravations about where we live. Truly, our brains have one scale, and we adjust our experiences to fit.</p>
Marcus "MajorLinux" Summers<p>I've been seeing some discourse on &lt;insert Meta product here&gt; about <a href="https://toot.majorshouse.com/tags/RedBook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RedBook</span></a> (aka Red Note).</p><p>Some of that convo has made it here where people are being very Sinophobic or at least some Red Scare and other American propaganda has started to show.</p><p>From what I have seen on the app, their has been nothing but a cultural exchange between USians (still a weird term) and Chinese users.</p><p>Sure, there are bad actors on both sides, but that is not the bulk of what's happening.</p><p>Y'all just afraid of China</p>
