Members of a crowd filled with members of the military & their families booed & jeered Trump’s political rivals & the press Tues at the president’s prompting during his address at #FortBragg in North Carolina.

The response from attendees, most of whom were wearing military fatigues, was a jarring sight given the military’s history as a traditionally #nonpartisan entity.

This is what #AI is doing to people. It makes people who don't know anything at all in an area that requires significant expertise think that they can just suddenly do whatever because AI magic.

This article from 404 media describes someone who has created an AI bot that assigns a "radical score" to reddit users based on what they're posting about. Then, without disclosing it to anybody (not even reddit) it starts messaging them with an AI chatbot attempting to "deradicalize" them. I get the idea.

When asked whether this person had any fucking clue what he was doing:

He added he has had no training in, or academic study around, de-radicalisation. “I would describe myself as a completely tech/management guy,” he said.

People need to stop imagining that all they have to do is type a few sentences into the magic box and all their dreams will come true.

I think some of us need a reminder that in January an American green card holder born in Morocco flew all the way across the ocean to Tel Aviv to stab 4 random civilians because he has been radicalized

If someone had checked his social media and asked him a couple questions about it before giving him a US green card, the attack would have been prevented
