As best we could tell, it's still apparently having ICCU and 12 volt failures, occasionally with long waits for parts, despite several recalls in the past few years.Would have loved to get one but we went with a more reliable <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/toyota" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#toyota</a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RAV4" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RAV4</a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/PHEV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PHEV</a> for the next 3 years. Sweet Home Alaberta 🇨🇦 🇺🇦 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ 🇲🇽So the sunroof on my old 2003 Rav4 decided to demonstrate it's ejection function. Surprise! I had no idea it had that option until searching online and talking to a nice chap at Transport Canada, and now I know its not that uncommon and there's data collection at TC and in USA. It appears the glue may have failed since 3/4 of the sunroof frame remains. Thankfully there was nobody behind me on the hwy to catch the ejection sunroof.
