Mx. Luna Corbden<p>My biggest struggle with suspension of disbelief is the race angle. I’m not sure where they’re taking it, but in a post-BLM world, I’m having trouble conjuring sympathy for a white guy supposedly wrongfully convicted, and then this nonsense about his brother going to all these ridiculous lengths to right this grievous wrong, totally unheard of in the American justice system, but for this poor guy! </p><p>It’s made all the worse by the elaborate job someone went to to frame him, and like, that’s what it takes for a *white* guy to get wrongfully convicted, this huge awkward fanciful conspiracy. Like, big “white knight Marty Stu descends into the underbelly of society“ vibes. I don’t care about either of these guys or their troubles.
