DesertFOX<p>Tonight, I'm just sorting through my latest retro downloads... mostly stuff I found on the Internet Archive.</p><p>And... "Holy cow!" This must be the earliest version of "Microsoft Office" I've ever seen! "WIN OFFICE 1.00". Everything's on 5.25inch disks and it doesn't even have a combined SETUP.EXE yet. You just pick what you want and then you're being thrown into a full-screen DOS session to go through the setup process. It features "Word 1.1", "Excel 2.0d" and "PowerPoint 2.00". This is fun!.. albeit in a strange way.</p><p>Source:<br><a href="https://archive.org/details/microsoft-office-1.0-for-windows-1.0-1990-09-english-5.25-1.2-mb" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">archive.org/details/microsoft-</span><span class="invisible">office-1.0-for-windows-1.0-1990-09-english-5.25-1.2-mb</span></a></p><p><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/RetroComputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroComputing</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Microsoft</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Office" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Office</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Word" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Word</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Excel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Excel</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/PowerPoint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PowerPoint</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Retro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Retro</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/90s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>90s</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Win3x" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Win3x</span></a></p>
