Mouse<p>My Lenovo laptop was getting really unstable after about 3 years (Pop!_OS 22.04) so I tried the OS refresh for the first time. It went totally smooth and I only had to reinstall a few apps. All my settings, all my Firefox setup came through intact. Uninstalled a PWA and reinstalled it, and it still uses the Vivaldi icon.</p><p>This is super-annoying to me because I rely on those app-specific icons for my workflow. Pretty much anything you want to nstall just runs, as compared to regular Ubuntu, sometimes you'll have to do more steps to get things running.</p> <p>Pop!_OS also integrated well the other software distribution methods, so if you prefer Flattak or AppImage or traditional, it's good to go. (If you want Snap, it's an option too.)</p> <p>A gamer? Edwinek<p>Well, that worked. My old and slightly tired Chromebook is now enjoying a second youth as a dapper Linux laptop, running Pop!_OS. My favourite distro Kubuntu turned out to be a bit too much for it.</p><p>Why not resuscitate your own Chromebook?
