Poland Wants #US Nuclear Weapons – Will Trump Stand Against Russia?

Polish President Andrzej Duda has once again raised the issue of deploying #USA nuclear warheads on Polish soil. This proposal, first suggested in 2022, aims to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank and serve as a deterrent against #Russia aggression. However, the big question remains: will the #USpol, under #Trump’s leadership, approve this move? Doubts are more than justified.

#DonaldTrump has never hidden his admiration for dictators and autocrats. He is fascinated by their unchecked power, and this influences his foreign policy decisions. Instead of reinforcing #Europe’s security, he is more likely to seek "deals" with Putin, as he has done before. If that happens, Europe will be left with no choice but to stand on its own and look for more reliable allies.

Deploying nuclear weapons in Poland could also provoke a predictable Russian response. History repeats itself—just like during the Cold War, the Kremlin might attempt to place its own warheads in Cuba or elsewhere in Latin America. Is this realistic? Partially, yes. But let’s not forget that Russia’s military has struggled for three years to complete what was supposed to be a three-day operation in #Ukraine. A direct confrontation with NATO would be an entirely different challenge, one that Russia is unlikely to win.

Europe must ask itself: should we continue relying on Washington’s unpredictable decisions, or is it time to start building our own defense capabilities? A federalized #EU and an independent European security strategy could be the answer to an increasingly uncertain geopolitical landscape. Perhaps the time has come for Europe to stop playing second fiddle and step up as a true global power.

What do you think? Should #NATO approve #Poland’s proposal, or is this an unnecessary escalation?

The European Union plans to allocate €200 billion for investments in European artificial intelligence.

The EU announced that new artificial intelligence factories will be established in Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Poland, and Slovenia, supported by a total of approximately €485 million in national and EU investments.

A particularly pleasant and possible prospect that has been floating in NATO's offices- and they really hate it - is that #Russia will accept the #ceasefire.
And for that to happen, #US is ready to offer land and water.
Like, say, the withdrawal of all #USA military forces from #Poland.
Or even from #Romania?
Maybe from all of Eastern Europe?
No one can say for sure, but in any case it is a nightmare scenario for the #NATO and #EU warmongers.
But particularly pleasing for everybody else.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he reached a “historic breakthrough” with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Wednesday, as he tried to convince the Turkish president to play a role in securing peace between Ukraine and Russia.

#France, #Germany, #Italy, #Poland and the United Kingdom want to cut regulations on weapon-makers to help them boost production.

"We are calling for the defense industry to no longer be treated as just another industry," France's Sébastien #Lecornu said.
