Steve's Place<p>After maybe 30 loops of a NE Portland location, plus additional loops, the PPB creeper Cessna took off to the south, back the way it came. At about Glisan St. it made a u-turn and headed to PDX, where its last signal had it sitting on a runway, perhaps refueling. Steve's Place<p>Portland's police chief has resigned. Mayor Ted Wheeler has appointed a temporary replacement, Bob Day. He spoke of his past, beginning as an "arrest is all" cop to one who is engaged with the community. He says he's "hopeful."
