Mrs Wife took him to the local hospital, where they spent all day assessing him and patching him up. </p><p>No charge. </p><p>Starting that very evening, and going on for a week, at least one person (sometimes two or three) came from Urgent Community Response to see him, re-dress the wound, provide equipment to help him look after himself more safely, provide exercises to help his stability, and provide protein shakes to build up his strength. </p><p>No charge. </p><p>Since then, up to three people have come twice a week to care for the wound and take care of other needs.</p><p>No charge. </p><p>Today, Mrs Wife took him to the GP's surgery, where they spent two hours with him, came up with a diagnosis, and referred him to the Frailty Team for further care. </p><p>No charge.</p><p>The <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/NHS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NHS</span></a> is a bloody miracle. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.</p>
