Daniel Bellingradt<p>Funkelnagelneu! <a href="https://historians.social/tags/NewsHistory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NewsHistory</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/Histodons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Histodons</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/Nachrichten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nachrichten</span></a> </p><p>Mehr dazu in meinem neuen Buch (2025).</p>

Daniel Bellingradt<p>A post horn. The <a href="https://historians.social/tags/earlymodern" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>earlymodern</span></a> news networks, i.e. the postal and carrier services, were the main movers of papers during this period. The paper flows of the period were literally transported artefacts: from A to B. And this mobility had a soundscape. <a href="https://historians.social/tags/NewsHistory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NewsHistory</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/PaperHistory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PaperHistory</span></a></p>
Daniel Bellingradt<p>Reporting newsworthy details of the war was a business. And foreign troops fighting in German speaking Europe (the Holy Roman Empire) were a selling news item, as <a href="https://historians.social/tags/earlymodern" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>earlymodern</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/NewsHistory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NewsHistory</span></a> knows. </p><p>Broadsides, single-sheet prints with image and text, were good selling news media. But where to get an image, in the early 1630s, ...</p>

Daniel Bellingradt<p>Every app tells a different story, and connects to a different set of underpinning research. The <a href="https://historians.social/tags/Hamburg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hamburg</span></a> app looks upon urban news flows in <a href="https://historians.social/tags/earlymodern" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>earlymodern</span></a> northern Europe.
