Nope. SXSW has stages small & large, showcasing big names along side up & coming, & not well known acts.
North to Shore, while not a bad thing, is largely about recognizable names playing in bigger venues. Small venues that regularly showcase live original music, are sadly, mostly left out.
The, short lived Wave Gathering in Asbury Park, was closer to SXSW in spirit.

The center will dwarf the only other detention site in #NJ, a facility in Elizabeth that has about 200 beds. The new center’s location — near major airports & on the outskirts of immigrant-rich #NYC [#EricAdams #QuidProQuo] — could play a pivotal role in the agency’s ability to increase the number of detainees it can hold & to quickly stage #deportation flights.
