Aral Balkan<p>If you’re looking for an EU-based alternative to AzireVPN since they’ve now sold to a US company (why, hello, Trump presidency, how goes?), see Mullvad VPN (<span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@mullvadnet" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>mullvadnet</span></a></span>).</p><p><a href="https://mullvad.net" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">mullvad.net</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.ar.al/tags/privacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>privacy</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ar.al/tags/security" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>security</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ar.al/tags/VPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VPN</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ar.al/tags/AzireVPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AzireVPN</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ar.al/tags/MullvadVPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MullvadVPN</span></a></p>

TechBites<p>Mullvad VPN ( <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@mullvadnet" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>mullvadnet</span></a></span> ) dismissed allegations of a data breach involving dozens of its users' accounts being found on the dark web. The VPN provider explained that the accounts in question were not leaked but were given away for free to various organizations, some of which may have subsequently shared them on public forums. Mullvad's CEO emphasized that these accounts do not contain personally identifiable information like passwords, and they do not compromise user privacy. The company is known for its strong commitment to user privacy and security online and has previously demonstrated its no-log policy.</p><p><a href="https://buddyverse.xyz/tags/Privacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Privacy</span></a> <a href="https://buddyverse.xyz/tags/Security" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Security</span></a> <a href="https://buddyverse.xyz/tags/VPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VPN</span></a> <a href="https://buddyverse.xyz/tags/Mullvad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mullvad</span></a> <a href="https://buddyverse.xyz/tags/Leak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Leak</span></a> <a href="https://buddyverse.xyz/tags/MullvadVPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MullvadVPN</span></a></p>
MysticBasil 🇺🇦<p>To my German friends. If you use a combination of <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/FritzBox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FritzBox</span></a> router, <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Vodafone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Vodafone</span></a> ISP and <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/MullvadVPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MullvadVPN</span></a> - meaning you are trying to set up <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Wireguard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Wireguard</span></a> on the router itself - be wary, that this setup is known to leak your IPv6 address. On the other hand, if you use Mullvad VPN App on your OS, everything works fine. Not sure who to blame here specifically, but this has been a disturbing revelation to me. Be careful.</p>
MagicLike 🏳️‍🌈<p>In case you did not know: When you install <span class="h-card"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@mullvadnet" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>mullvadnet</span></a></span> on <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a>, besides the GUI there is also a <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/CLI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CLI</span></a> interface! That means you can use a <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/VPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VPN</span></a> for a headless server or just use it to autoconfigure a VPN connection everytime you boot your machine. Nice one Mullvad! ❤️</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/MullvadVPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MullvadVPN</span></a></p>
