Meeting was crisp and efficient (although we did spend ten minutes for some fan service of the JB Pritzker speech at the HRC to get everybody motivated). He comes from the <a href="https://epistolary.org/tags/Jenkintown" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Jenkintown</a> department and has eleven years of service, one year short of pension eligibility which reset now that he's taking a new job. I was immediately suspicious of why an officer one year away from pension would change jobs and was ready to raise a ruckus next meeting. I did some research and it turns out that Jenkintown is reducing its police department from 15 employees to eight and this guy didn't make the cut.
