With that it's much easier to write printer code on the game side.</p><p>So I added printer support into GB-Wordyl for the Mega Duck. You can press printscreen most anywhere in the game.</p><p>Still no actual printer hardware to test, so prob wait on new release. </p><p>The emulation is sufficient enough that the OEM ROMs which use it all seem to print ok. Decent output now (greyscale pix).</p><p>Seems there are two kinds of printers. bbbbbr<p>LOL, *not* a real <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/megaduck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>megaduck</span></a> release by incube8, but I am <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/romacking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>romacking</span></a> one of their <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/gameboy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gameboy</span></a> releases for it. Shrunk down their logo to make room for the duck one (sorry not sorry).</p><p>A little more work since had to determine the logo was apultra compressed, then edit and recompress.</p><p>Three modern homebrew <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/gameboy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gameboy</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/shmup" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>shmup</span></a> games are getting patched. :)</p>
bbbbbr<p>Ahhhh, could't help it. Took a detour to do some Game Boy -&gt; MegaDuck ROM patching yesterday.</p><p>Made a couple game cheats then disassembed and rom patched the new <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/GameBoy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoy</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/shmup" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>shmup</span></a> Nocptern run on the <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/MegaDuck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MegaDuck</span></a>.
