#Panoramax - das neue #StreetView!

Vor einigen Jahren wurde
#Mapillary an #Meta verkauft. Und auch #Google StreetView möchte vielleicht nicht jeder nutzen.

Mit Panoramax gibt es nun eine
#FOSS Alternative. Sie soll dezentral organisiert werden. Dies ist meines Wissens die erste Instanz:

Kleiner Tipp:
Falls man das AdOn
#ClearURLs verwendet, kommt man eventuell über die Animation wegen Blockierung von ETags nicht hinaus. Deshalb nutze ich Panoramax als #Firefox-PWA am Desktop.

Walking up 103rd street today recording with #Mapillary (I know, purchased by Meta recently), am struck again by the presence of cars lining the streets. I have to walk down the middle of the block to get nice photos of the lovely buildings on the Upper West Side that aren't just photos of late model cars.

Mapillary is good to use because its visible in at least #OpenStreetMap apps I use.

@maique i fehlt in love with @streetcomplete APP. It supports adding details to POIs as well as adding lane details to ways etc. via overlays. You can also add new POIs via Overlay.

I'm pretty old school and use pen&paper or street level imagery like #mapillary to record ground truth and add it to OSM later on via JOSM editor. Maybe a tip to pro GIS for you? Even the website embedded 'I'd editor works well for small edits. Other tried @vespucci_editor for mobile edditing :blobcatthumbsups:
