hkz
Hmmm crap. Seems I have loads of "2 chips" (+ parity) 1MB SIMM modules but just 3x 256K modules and just 2x 1MB "1bit ram" modules.
From what I gather around, the modules with 4-bit chips seems to be incompatible.

Can anyone confirm?

Otherwise I'll try to bring up the #MacPlus clone with either 2MB or 512K

hkz
More ICs in the #MacPlus clone, including the GALs, but I'm still missing 5x 74F253 (I have plenty of 'LS253, but I suspect the F ones are there for a reason) and 2x LS166.

I'm still searching between all my scrap.

hkz
That's enough ICs for today.
I don't trust that resurfaced SCSI IC, but I have old PLCC ones and I made an adapter. Can try those if needed.

I also lack the 'F253s (I have loads of 'LS253 though...), the '161 and '166. Will have to order them at the end of the month.

Tomorrow I'll have a look at the GALs I can use for the PLDs. #MacPlus

hkz
Finally, the SIMM sockets are soldered to the #MacPlus motherboard. They were the last thing that needed soldering.

Now, to start plugging things in...
