Today is your Loki Day!

I used to worry about the brown spots on Loki's nose, his toes, his gums, etc. But the vet said it's just freckles, which makes sense b/c he's basically a redhead and redheads have freckles.

I’ve been brushing up on my French and also learning Spanish concurrently with Duolingo. It’s fun, but sometimes I mix up which word is what depending on which language I’m currently practicing (Elle vs Él, for instance). And sometimes I combine words.

I’ve started calling the cats my chatitos* on purpose tho.

*Pronounced “shateetoes” ofc

Forgot to post a Caturday pic yesterday, so here are some I took inspired by this influencer using their cat as a luscious fur backdrop for showcasing beauty products [photo 1].

Loki went to the vet on Thursday to get a dental cleaning, and ended up having 4 teeth extracted (see following post).

He is recovering well, other than being a little out of it from the pain meds.
We are so grateful he made it through the procedure, as he is a senior cat with kidney disease.

He had his front legs shaved, and now it looks like he’s wearing oven mitts.
