Mark Wieczorek<p>In response to the Trump executive orders, the Lunar and Planetary Institute (<a href="https://solarsystem.social/tags/LPI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LPI</span></a>) is removing abstracts from previously held meetings that used to be archived on their website.</p><p>Here is an example of one that was removed from the 2025 Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (<a href="https://solarsystem.social/tags/LPSC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LPSC</span></a>).</p>

Not much came out of <a href="https://scicomm.xyz/tags/Athena" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Athena</span></a>, obviously, and they're still trying to make contact with the Lunar Trailblazer - no indication of the hope level ...</p>

The first day of the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference is almost over and there are only about 5 posts on <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastodon</span></a>, but hundreds on the site owned, run and censored by a sociopathic LGBTQ+phobe (among other things).
