I'm open to just about anything, but experience-wise, I currently work as one of the purchasing accountants for the Department of Medicine at a major US university, have a degree in accounting, am proficient with spreadsheets, running and creating reports, comfortable presenting information in front of others, and a fantastic team player. It's still very weird to have an hourly as one range end for what's generally an exempt role.Original toot follows:I want to highlight the salary range in this Meta iOS Developer role because of the implications of the recruiter's reply. While the original role I commented on (on Linked In) was remote (pic 1), there's also one for Burlingame, California that's live right now on Linked In (not uploaded as there's a 4-pic limit).The salary range is $70.67/yr - 208k/yr. (see pic 1)Emphasis: SEVENTY DOLLARS AND SIXTY-SEVEN CENTS FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR'S WORK.Figuring it had to be an error, I contacted the recruiter (pic 2).The recruiter replied (pic 3). StefanoMy company ships approximately 93-95% of our products to the US. The threat of tariffs worries me quite a bit. I'm four years away from retirement and although the thought of having to go back on a job search is rather daunting, I'm ready for it should the time come.
