Sigh.

Have to replace a starter on the WK. Got the "*tick*, no start" twice, in a week. Starter about to go, I seen this movie, even the credits suck.

Took a look, and the starter is still factory, and it LOOKS it. Eh. Ordered part, arrived, now to wrench that sucker in.

So thankful this is the 4.7l V8 and not the 3.7l V6, whew.

Offroad to me means basically anything related to #4x4 #4wd #overland #rockcrawling #adventurebikes #jeep #landcruiser #bronco #landrover (though I need some land rover guys to show up in their tweed dinner jackets, twirl their fancy mustaches, and tell help me see the new defender just isn't a Pilot with a heated steering wheel. @Swede1952 ah, yes, the convenience of double the prices on a car that has everything electronic, spies on you, sells your driving and personal information, but we get niceties such as our delicate appendices are not touched hard by a glass going up.

So, now they had a different style JP plate, akin to the original movie's #TJ Wranglers. About a year or so ago they brought back a newer version of the JP-logo-on-black plate.

Context: in the original books, Jurassic Park had gas-powered TJ Wranglers - NO FORD EXPLORERS, EVER - and people organizing a rescue expedition in book 2 ( "Lost World" ) were driving hybrid-electric #XJ Cherokees.

I've had the old version of JP-logo-on-black plate, since Universal Studios Orlando opened. It was on the XJ front bumper, then went to the rear plate holder, when it was hidden by the off road tire-carrier. Now, the JP-number plates are in the rear, behind carrier, and the much older JP-on-the back to the front bumper, on a winch flip-mount.

My kids call the XJ "dinosaur car" since they could barely walk.
