Had to make the tough decision to sit out a conference (#JNUC2023) my team is presenting at this week to focus on my family due to an unexpected pet health situation.
With my #anxiety brain firing constant "This is a bad decision, you're letting everyone down ZOMG" barrages I'm thankful for the affirmations from my team and friends that putting family first is indeed something you're allowed to do. So now I can breathe again.
