Magdalena<p>I finally succeeded at discovering some individuals of C. splendens. This female, alongside another female & one male, were observed at their relatively new spot closer to my village's church, whereas another male was seen at the northwestern edge of the pond - quite a distance between the new path next to the pond & the destroyed habitat between Z II & III. JulianThis was one of the few times I successfully took a butterfly. It's definitively not easy due to their flight distance; they're very active animals as well but very beautiful ones.<br>

Le dessus des ailes est de couleur chamois orangé avec des taches noires. L'apex des ailes antérieures est noir avec des taches blanches. Le dessous des ailes antérieures ressemble au dessus, mais avec une forte suffusion de rose. SkyDieser Besucher kam vor einigen Tagen zum Frühstück vorbei und hat ich auf ein Stück Papier gesetzt. Die Bedingungen für ein Foto waren nicht ideal: Es war dunkel, ich habe keinen Blitz-Diffuser und ein vierzehntzopfiger Marienkäfer ist ja auch nicht besonders groß, aber die Nachbearbeitung hat es ein wenig gerichtet. Das Foto ist nicht perfekt, aber da er so süß ist, wollte ich ihn nicht auf der Festplatte versauern lassen.<br>

🇬🇧 This visitor dropped by for breakfast a few days ago and was on a piece of paper. The conditions weren't ideal for a photo: it was dark, I don’t have a flash diffusor and a cream-spot ladybird isn't particularly big, but editing helped to improve the photo a bit. This photo is far from perfect, but as the ladybird is so cute, I didn't want to keep solely it on my hard drive.<br>
