Will
This is probably my first post on any social media in years, so here we go.

Hello, I'm a neurodivergent full-stack software engineer from the UK. I use Ruby on Rails in my job, but I'm fairly familiar with Python, it being my first programming language.

I use Linux as my daily driver, having used Ubuntu for maybe 10 years or more, before recently switching to Arch Linux + KDE Plasma.

I'm currently interested in self-hosting/homelabbing, so I have my own Gitea instance for personal use, although I might change to Forgejo soon. As part of this I've also been learning a lot about containers, virtual machines and configuration as code.

I'm mainly going to be using this account as a way of sharing knowledge as I research whatever I'm doing, but hopefully in the future most of that will live in a blog for you all to read. I've also recently joined a repair café as a volunteer, so you may occasionally get some posts related to that.

Other interests include gaming, cooking, baking, music, philosophy, science and maths. I'm also learning to see things from the solarpunk perspective. I'm currently playing The Talos Principle 2 (one of the best games I have ever played).

Oh, and I have a cat so I will definitely be posting her here.

#introduction
